autonomous robots in Castle Garden
The RoboOrienteering contest first took place in 2010 in Rychnovov nad Kněžnou. This contest is similar to American RoboMagellan, where autonomous robots receive coordinates of destination and waypoints and the task is to find and travel given route. The waypoints can be anywhere including difficult terrain, so the task is not easy. The next RoboOrienteering date is June 2nd 2012, this time in Svinaře, near castle Karlštejn.

RoboOrienteering 2012 — nová lokace v zámeckém parku ve Svinařích
Třetí ročník soutěže „RoboOrienteering” se pojede v sobotu 2. června 2012 v
zámeckém parku ve Svinařích (cca 10km od hradu Karlštejn). Nová lokace znamená
nové náročné prostředí pro autonomní roboty a zpestření pro jejich tvůrce.
Přestože pravidla zůstávají stejná, budou si roboti muset poradit
i s diváky, kteří se, vedle robotů, přijdou podívat i na akci „Svinařské
řetězení”.

RoboOrienteering 2010 — nová soutěž terénních robotů v Rychnově nad Kněžnou
První ročník soutěže „RoboOrienteering” se konal v sobotu 19. června 2010 v
Rychnově nad Kněžnou v Zámeckém parku. Je to další soutěž, kde autonomní roboti
mají za úkol ve venkovním prostředí plnit určitý úkol. Zde to bylo podobné
orientačnímu závodu, kdy robot měl projet zadanými kontrolami …
