To the occasion of the fifth anniversary of robotika.cz we have decided to organize a new competition for autonomous robots with a working name Robotour. It will be held in October 14th, 2006 in park Stromovka in Prague, Czech Republic. The goal of the robots will be to travel a given route of the park's passage ways. Emphasis will be on the robustness and reliability of the robots built with minimal expenses.

Představení týmů — kolik robotů dorazí na první ročník soutěže?
Soutěž RoboTour2006 se pomalu blíží a tak je na čase udělat malý přehled týmů,
které už několik měsíců připravují své roboty. Jak uvidíte škála je opravdu
široká: od malých upravených RC autíček až po velké a finančně náročné komerční
Pioneer3. Aktuálně je do soutěže přihlášeno 13 týmů.

Výsledky — Bender Team se stává vítězem Robotour 2006!
Z třinácti registrovaných týmů nakonec prošlo homologací týmů osm. Brněnský tým
Robohemia měl však vážné problémy s řízením, a tak nakonec diváci v akci viděli
robotů sedm — sedm statečných . Podobně jako v této kovbojce roboti
postupně umírali, v posledním, pátem, kole už každý druhý nebyl schopen
pohybu. Byla to velmi náročná soutěž. A jak tedy dopadla?
